KBStronger Kettlebell Certification
At 38, after 11.5 years as a stay-at-home mom, I could not rent an apartment. I had no income history. That moment changed everything. At 41, I flew to New York City, got certified, got hired the same weekend, and opened the Canadian region seven months later. I eventually opened a studio location, then rebranded to KBStronger in 2024 and took everything online. I built this certification because I never wanted another woman to feel like she had nothing of her own.
"If you are looking to get certified in KB, this is the course for you. Jodi will coach you through form and technique but also you will gain the confidence, because of this course and her method, to stand up in front of a class one day or with a client and teach them. I highly recommend!"-- Heather, KBStronger Certified Trainer
Every level teaches you the KBStronger method -- biomechanics, faults and fixes, how to coach a real class or private client. Start where you are. Grow from there.
The complete foundation in kettlebell biomechanics. Ballistics, grinds, faults and fixes, group and private client structure. Everything you need to coach with confidence from day one.

Every KBStronger certification is built around one promise: you will leave knowing how to teach. Not just the movements -- but how to coach a real person through them, correct their form, and structure a session that gets results. If you complete all coursework and do not feel confident teaching, we will work with you until you do.
Foundation: up to 3 months at your own pace. Level 1: up to 6 months. Both are fully self-paced with no pressure deadlines.
At minimum, one kettlebell. Women should start with at least 15 lbs; men at least 25 lbs. Two kettlebells are recommended for Level 1 and above to practice doubles.
No. Many people take this to advance their own training or add kettlebells to an existing coaching toolkit. You do not need a prior fitness credential to enroll in Foundation or Level 1.
Through video homework submissions demonstrating fundamental movements -- Swing, Clean, Snatch, Windmill, Turkish Get-Up -- plus teaching videos where you coach a beginner or teach directly to camera.
Online is fully self-paced -- you move through video content and submit assignments on your own timeline. The 1-on-1 is direct in-person coaching with Jodi: personalized feedback, real-time correction, and the full experience of being trained by the person who built the system. The 1-on-1 is priced higher because you are getting Jodi's direct time.
